This is a Naniwa-style bonito broth made with bonito flakes from Ushibuka, Kumamoto Prefecture, shiitake mushrooms from Oita Prefecture, and true kelp from Hokkaido.

Each product is handcrafted by skilled artisans. It's a simple and convenient dashi (soup stock) pack product.

Each pack contains 10 dashi packets. Net weight: 80g (8g per packet x 10 packets)

【raw materials】

Flavoring ingredients (dried bonito flakes (domestically produced), dried mackerel flakes, dried anchovy flakes, dried sardine flakes, kelp, shiitake mushrooms), salt, sugar, powdered soy sauce (contains soybeans and wheat) / Seasoning (amino acids, etc.)

[How to make it]

① Pour about 300 ml of water into a pot and add one dashi pack.

② Cover the pot and bring the water to a boil. Once it boils, reduce the heat to low.

③ Simmer over low heat for about 5-10 minutes. (5 minutes is usually sufficient.)

④ Turn off the heat and let it steam for a few minutes (about 5 minutes. *Steaming is optional).

★If you cook without a lid, the water may not boil easily.

★Even if you use a dashi pot, the flavor will come out nicely.

[Application]

Naniwa-style bonito broth is already well-seasoned. Therefore, if you use it with the specified amount of water, no additional seasonings will be needed. Conversely, for dishes that typically require seasonings, such as miso soup, please adjust the amount of water accordingly.

(Example dishes)

Oden, udon (hot and cold), hot pot dishes, all kinds of soups, as a broth to drink on its own, etc.

[How to save]

Store in a cool, dark place away from high temperatures and humidity. After opening, store in the refrigerator.

【expiration date】

Approximately one year since manufacture

*The dashi pack may change color due to the fish oil, but this does not affect the quality.
